Claudette is the teacher overseeing all the students who exhibited. Examples of some of their work are shown in the postings below. With Claudette is Elad Arad and one of his paintings. Elad has been a student with Claudette for 11 years.
This is inspired by the Negev desert where Omer is based. Not quite my out-the-frontdoor view but certainly 5km up the road. And ok I exaggerated the hills and yes it is never this green even after the rains but hey, this is art.
The teacher asked each of us to paint an abstract on two sides of a cardboard square. These will be tied together and hung to form a class-collective mobile.
I have been attending Claudette's class in Omer since September 2007 and this site charts my drawings and pictures. In my first year I also attended Yael's class which emphasises self expression. Since October 2010 I have been attending Margalit Sheli's watercolour class at Kaye Academic College in Beer Sheva.
